Singapore architects to visit AP to help in capital designing

CM has asked the Singapore government to help design the AP capital

Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was very impressed with the world-class planning,  designing and construction he witnessed in Singapore and has asked the Singapore government to help design the AP capital.
 
A senior official, who was a part of the delegation, said a high-level team comprising designers, architects, urban and town planners, along with officials  from Singapore, will be visiting AP in early December with a  blue print of the capital city.
 
“Right from construction of sky-scrappers to development of ports, the Chief Minister has evinced interest in government-to-government model of partnership in addition to Public Private
 
Partnership agreements with the top-notch private companies of Singapore,” an official said. Both the governments will tie-up for skill developments. Meanwhile,  on Saturday, Mr Naidu came to the Secretariat after a gap of five days.  
 
Several ruling party MPs, MLAs, ministers and other leaders visited the CMO, as it was the last date for transfers according to orders issued by the government. However, on the request of officials and ministers, the CM agreed to extend the deadline by one more week till November 22. Union ministers P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Y.S. Chowdary also came to meet Mr Naidu at the Secretariat.
