Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested the Singapore government to prepare a master plan for the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister wants vertical development of buildings above ground as well as below for optimum utilisation of limited land as is the case with buildings in Singapore. The Andhra Pradesh government will go for both ‘Government to Government (G2G)’ and ‘Public Private Partnership (PPP)’ with the Singapore government for building a capital city and world class infrastructure.
He sought to remind people of his poll promise during the election campaign that he would build a Singapore-like capital in Andhra Pradesh if he was elected.
