Vrindavan: Five years from now, Vrindavan will boast of the world’s largest and the first ‘skyscraper’ temple for Lord Krishna, with a height of 210 metres in a 30 acres sprawling campus that will also resemble the verdant forests of 500 years ago.
President Pranab Mukherjee laid the foundation stone for the ‘Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir’ here on Sunday by participating in the ‘Ananta Sesha puja’.
The temple will have a capsule elevator to take visitors from to the viewing gallery at the top of the temple, giving a 3D light and sound experience of different planetary systems.
