As the trend of clicking ‘selfies' is on an increasing spree, smartphone companies are focusing on manufacturing high-end front cameras on handsets.

On clicking numerous selfies, you can now print your photos without spending on bulky and expensive printers. Prynt, a new polaroid case designed for iPhones and Android handsets, is equipped with a compact printer that resembles a point-and-shoot camera. Photos from your smartphone gallery, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat can be printed using the Prynt device.

You can connect your handset to the USB plug-in slot of the Polaroid case, which means it does not depend on Bluetooth or WiFi. At present, this portable printer takes around 50 seconds to print a single photo. Its developers are also trying to make the Prynt device more efficient, by enabling it to hold around 30 sheets of heat-activated ink-paper.

The Prynt device can be considered as one of the instant cameras of the 21st century. Prynt is expected to launch in January 2015.
