Motorists engaged in heated exchange with police for stopping vehicles

Visakhapatnam: Motorists had a harrowing time on Monday, thanks to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to  the city to participate in various programmes including massive saplings plantation at various places in the city under the “Rejuvenation Vizag.” Motorists of MVP Colony, RK Beach Road stretch, Appughar, Visalakshinagar, Jodugullapalem and few other areas were caught unawares by the traffic jam at various spots in the morning and afternoon. The RK Beach Road stretch from Appughar to Kailasagiri witnessed a choc-a-bloc traffic during the morning and afternoon when Mr Naidu and few other ministers participated in sapling plantations with hundreds of party men and officials joined in the programme. Not only for motorists but also cops had a tough time to streamline the traffic and monitor the crowd. Some motorists engaged in heated exchange with cops for stopping the vehicles more than 15 minutes at various places for allowing Mr Naidu’s convoy.
