Huge turnout at Sabarimala on Vrishchikam

Sabarimala: A huge number of pilgrims thronged Sabarimala on the first day of the Malayalam month Vrischikam on Monday with the queue extending from Sannidhanam to Saramkuthi. Melshanthi E N Krishnadas opened the temple for Nirmalyam at 4 am.

The first set of devotees included Transport Commissioner B Sreelekha and Devaswom minister V S Sivakumar. Malikapuram Melsanthi Kesavan Namboothiri led the poojas at Malikapuram.
