Telangana government threw out all AP employees from the labour commissioner’s office
Hyderabad: The controversy surrounding the labour department took another twist with the Telangana government throwing out the AP employees from the labour commissioner’s office and sealing their chambers.
After receiving complaints from the employees of the labour commissioner, AP government chief secretary I.Y.R Krishna Rao on Monday wrote to Telangana chief secretary Rajeev Sharma informing him that the assistant labour commissioner will come to the labour commissioner’s office and he should be allowed to take the files belonging to AP.
The friction between the two states began after Telangana government alleged that the AP government was shifting funds, which belong to both Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh.
Following this, the Telangana government wrote to the banks not to release the funds and the banks decided to freeze the funds. After that the Telangana government threw out all AP employees from the labour commissioner’s office.
