After Lord Ganesha, Ram Gopal Varma trolls Tirupati's Balaji
The director has earlier been booked for tweets on Lord Ganesha
Mumbai: It is said that 'Religion is the opium of the masses'; religion also seems to be director Ram Gopal Varma's favourite topic on Twitter. The film-maker took to social networking to express his sentiments on Lord Balaji and how locals in Andhra do not pray to Yadagiri Narasimha.
Is it Right that Telangana people pray to Andhra people's Balaji more than their own Yadagiri Narasimha ?

I am not a believer in God but I feel it's insulting to Yadagiri Narasimha that Telangana people pray to Andhra people's Balaji more

Like you love your own country shouldn't you be praying to your own states God instead of praying to another States God?

Isn't it correctly wrong that Telangana people think of their own God Yadagiri Narasimha lesser than Andhra people's God?

I am very happy the KCR is developing Yadagiri gutta nd I think this act of his wil make Telangana people realise the value of their own God

A criminal complaint has been earlier been filed against him in a magistrate's court in Mumbai alleging that he had hurt religious sentiments of people by poking fun at Lord Ganesh with his Twitter comments. The 52-year-old producer-director, who, apart from questioning the ability of Lord Ganesh to remove obstacles from the path of his devotees, made fun of his physical attributes, the complaint alleged.
