Shah Rukh Khan visits Ramesh Sippy on the sets of Shimla Mirch

Shah Rukh Khan was a surprise visitor on the sets of Ramesh Sippy’s next directorial venture Shimla Mirchi. When Shah Rukh learned that Mr Sippy was shooting at Mehboob Studio on Wednesday, he decided to drop by on the sets. “Sippy Sir was shooting one of the most interesting sequences of Shimla Mirchi in Mehboob Studio. A huge coffee shop set has been created for the purpose. Rajkummar Rao who stars in the film along with Hema Malini ran into Shah Rukh and informed him about Sippy sir’s directorial venture. That was when Shah Rukh decided to pay him a visit. He hung around the sets for a long time. They were both seen indulging in an animated conversation. He was keen to meet Hemaji as well but it was her day off,” says a source from the production unit. Incidentally, Ramesh Sippy’s last directorial venture Zamaana Deewana was with Shah Rukh in the lead.
