Dashing left hander started cleanliness programme with local residents and children

Ghaziabad: After being nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, Indian batsman Suresh Raina joined the initiative by starting the cleanliness drive on Wednesday in his home town along with the local residents and children.The dashing left-handed batsman supported Mr. Modi’s campaign and mentioned that cleanliness is a reflection of our civilization and that it should no longer be just a dream.
 
“I’m very happy today to participate in the initiative of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” which has been started by our honorable PM Sh Narendra Modi. Every Indian citizen should take up this noble endeavour and consider it as their duty to keep their surroundings clean,” Raina said.Raina, who has made a comeback to the Test team for the upcoming Australia series, took to social media to spread the message to his fans.
 
Raina, tweeted, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is a synonym of patriotism. Feel elated at having completed my challenge. Thanks @PMOIndia.  After the cleanliness drive, the 27-year-old also nominated and urged his UP teammates Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla and RP Singh along with BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla, to come forward and participate in the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”.
