Student fights for life after snake bite, school authorities keep incident under wraps

The boy's parents have already spent over Rs 2 lakh for his treatment

Nizamabad: A Class IX student,Yagnesh, 15,  who was bitten by a snake at the Social Welfare Residential School at Yellareddy on Monday, is fighting for his life at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad.

The incident was kept under wraps by the residential school authorities so far.

According to reliable sources, Yagnesh, a native of Uploor in Kammarpally mandal,  is studying in the residential school at Yellareddy.

On Monday last, a snake bit him. The victim’s parents rushed to the hospital.

A senior official of the district had also visited the boy in the corporate hospital on Wednesday following the request by his parents, who had already spent Rs 2 lakh on treatment
