Pattoor land report to be given to Lok Ayukta
The Lok Ayukta had earlier sought a report on the matter by Friday
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, advocate commission and amicus curiae will submit interim reports on the Pattoor land encroachment row before the Lok Ayukta on Friday.
It is learnt that the enquiries and surveys had found that there were encroachments on revenue land and this would be mentioned in the reports.
However, still there was lack of clarity on the extent of encroachment as well as the officials responsible for the encroachment.
Land acquisition register of the controversial land and Kerala Water Authority's sketch of the sewage line were not yet produced by the officials concerned.
While it was alleged that 16.5 cents was encroached by the private builder, certain documents show that only 12 cents was encroached on.
The Lok Ayukta had earlier sought a report on the matter by Friday. A survey of the land was done by the one-member advocate commission Abhijith Nambiar in the presence of Vigilance ADGP Jacob Thomas and amicus curiae advocate K.B. Pradeep on November 15.
The encroachment has been determined by comparison with documents pertaining to the land available with various agencies.
