Android users, who are one of the few lucky ones for now, are upgrading to Lollipop on their devices. However, not all are happy with the new operating system update.

The material Design OS from Google seems to be haunting a few Android users by causing performance issues on the devices.

Either the device is not compatible enough or the operating system is still a bit buggy.

Users who have already upgraded to the new OS platform are warning other users about their experience of moving on to Android Lollipop.

According to media reports, many users are facing issues such as failing Wi-Fi connectivity, bad audio quality and in some cases even completely audio failure.

Another bigger issue that has been reported with a few Nexus device users is that Adobe Air gets removed after the update and one cannot reinstall it again.

Some Nexus 7 tablet users have also confirmed that the Lollipop OTA update from Google has been a worse experience as the device witnessed laggy starts, restarts, and random crashes. They also reported that some apps would not respond, stating that the tablet experience was almost ruined.

At present, the Android Lollipop update is only available for Google devices and the issues are ‘severe’ according to the users. Other brand handsets are still to receive the update.

Citing these issues, the other handset manufacturers could withhold the updates and release it later until the entire testing on the device is complete.

Hopefully, Google steps in and acknowledges the issue and promptly releases an update to path the issues.
