Centre to get report on Andhra Pradesh, Telangana State issues
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao is preparing a report on the various controversial issues between AP and Telangana State, which will be given to the Centre.
Union home secretary Anil Goswamy has convened a meeting of the chief secretaries of both states on November 28 in Delhi.
 
Speaking to the media on Friday at  the Secretariat,  Mr Rao said that the state government will raise issues like power, water, institutions mentioned in 10th Schedule of the AP Reorganisation act.
 
The AP CS said that the TS government has appointed its own bodies to the Lokayukta and RTI commissioners. The AP government has slammed the TS government for appointing its own bodies to several institutions mentioned in the 10th Schedule against the rules of Act.
 
Mr Rao said power generation from Srisailam and the orders of the Krishna River Management Board will also be discussed. Both the governments will complain to the Centre for the delay in allotting AIS officers between the two states.

AP CS said that the state government is also take decision on appointing of its own bodies after the discussions with Union Home secretary. AP government is objecting for generation of power from Srisailam project against to the orders issued by Krishna River Management Board (KRMB).
 
At the same time Telangana government is accusing the AP government for not supply of its share in power. Telangana government has criticized the decision on cancellation of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). AP government will ask about the powers of the governor in the joint capital.
 
AP will demand to give the powers to the Governor as mentioned in the state Reorganization act. AP will ask the centre to implant the section 8 (governor’s powers in the common capital area) of the State bifurcation act.
 
Both the governments will complain on centre for delay in allotting All India Service (AIS) officers between the two states.
