Connect with people, indiscipline won't be tolerated: MNS chief Raj Thackeray
The party machinery could be revamped, 'action' will be taken where necessary
Pune: MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday asked party workers in a strong-worded message to connect with people and said that "indiscipline" would not be tolerated.
"I will not tolerate indiscipline. I relied upon those who did not deserve my trust. You should reach out to people and implement the party programme which will be monitored by me," he said.
The leader added that he would be revamping party machinery and take "action" wherever necessary.
"You should win minds of people and not just seek votes. Work without elections on mind and people will vote for you," Thackeray said.
Pulling up the party office bearers who indulge in birthday celebrations, he said, "Those who put up hoardings announcing their birthdays will be expelled from party. People do not like this."
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) won just one seat from Junnar in Pune district in the recent assembly elections that came as a big setback to the political prospect of the party in the state.
