Karachi: Pakistani foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri has said that the country does not see any problem with India's involvement in Afghanistan if Pakistan and India became " friendly neighbours".

According to Dawn, Kasuri said that if India and Pakistan developed friendly relations, then India could have as much access to Afghanistan as it wanted without any problem.

Kasuri was speaking after a two-day Track II meeting of India-Pakistan delegations he headed with India's Mani Shankar Aiyar.

Kasturi also commented on the India- Pakistan stalemate over Islamabad's proximity to Kashmir's Hurriyat Conference saying that it was better to have such meetings in the open rather than in secret.
