Margao (Goa): Back home after a fairly successful brief spell away, a resurgent FC Goa (GOA) added three more points to their account as they defeated FC Pune City (PUN) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa on Saturday.

5: GOAL! The hometeam gets going without wasting too much time. Andre Santos’s free-kick and Romeo Fernandes just tapped that ball in. Goalkepper Arindam had no chance to save that.

21: Sensational pass from Narayan Das! But Tolgay could not fire the shot in the net. FC Goa still in a lead but they could have scored their second goal.
29: Well-timed free-kick from Andre Santos but what a save that was from Arindam! He jumped to his left and punched the ball away for a corner.

66: FC Pune City had a chance as Perk hit an on-target free-kick. But no goal as it was headed away. Hometeam still in a lead.
69: Some brilliant display of skills from Mandar Rao Desai. He beat Wadoo on the flanks. Unfortunately though, the ball did not end up in a goalpost.
82: A lovely thorough ball from Romeo who netted the first goal. Wadoo attempted to stop the charge but the ball got away as Arindam approached.
90 + 4: GOAL! No way FC Pune City can make a comeback from here. Miroslav Slepicka cashed in on an easy opportunity as he headed hometeam’s second goal of the match.
