Deshpande said  the  higher education department had closed the file on the professor, who is being investigated by the CID for his role in the RGUHS marks card scam.

Prof. Kumar reported to duty in the Electronic Media department of Bengaluru University on November 17 after his suspension was revoked, and reports of his being appointed Special Officer of the Gangubai Hangal Music University, have since surfaced. But asserting that the government would not appoint any "tainted " officer to the post, Mr Deshpande said, “ his file has been closed by the department.”

To begin with, they will be established in 50 government colleges and extended to others in a phased manner. E- content would also be distributed to all government first grade colleges, the minister revealed.
