‘ZOHO DOT IN’ suite for micro-business
Put your micro-biz on the Web for free
Today every business, no matter how small demands a Web presence. But buying a domain name, creating email identities for a staff of anything from 1 to 25; using basic office tools for writing letters, making presentations, keeping accounts and storing all office files and creating a virtual shopping window for your offerings can add up to a tidy initial investment.
Now Chennai-headquartered global provider of business solutions - Zoho Corp. is giving all this for free to small Indian businesses. Last week it launched Zoho.in ( "Zoho Dot In") a suite of free applications which cover all these startup costs including a free domain name ( .in and .co) and a do-it-yourself tool to design and create your own website. Up to 25 email IDs are free with 5 GB storage per person as well as 5GB of shared storage with ZOHo Docs, the company's flagship office suite.
"It is our way of giving a helping hand to small enterprises and saying 'thank you' to India whose innovation has fuelled our global business", says Zoho's founder-CEO Sridhar Vembu.
