Young Siddharth Nigam is fearless
Siddharth is all set to make his television debut with Life OK’s Mahakumbh
Siddharth Nigam proved his mettle in films with his act as the younger version of Aamir Khan’s character in Dhoom 3. And now he is all set to make his television debut with Life OK’s Mahakumbh where he plays young Rudra, (Gautam Rode) who is born with extraordinary powers.
Later he will also be seen in the title role of Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat on Colors. Ahmedabad boy Siddharth is a gymnast and quite fearless when it comes to performing stunts for the show.
A source reveals, “While shooting for a scene, the little boy had to jump off from a height of 35 feet. The child actor was all set to jump, but before that, the action-director decided to try it himself.
The set up replicated the height and feel of the Malviya Bridge. Siddharth was required to jump headfirst from the bridge.
When the action director was all set to show Siddharth how to perform the stunt, he realised that the jump could result in serious injuries and refused to do it.
So the team decided to omit the scene, making it impossible for little Siddharth to even attempt the same.
But to everyone’s surprise, Siddharth was ready to jump without any hesitation. His courage to jump off the bridge motivated the crew to go ahead with the scene. The little boy jumped and gave a one-shot perfect take.”
