Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced in the Assembly on Monday that a five-year relaxation in the upper-age limit would be given to youth who applied for government jobs in order to compensate for the delay in issuing job notifications.
He urged the youth not to worry about the delay in job notifications and said huge job opportunities would come up in in the power sector in the state with the setting up of mega power plants by NTPC and BHEL.
The TRS has been facing the ire of students for delaying job notifications with the Osmania University witnessing frequent agitations over the issue.
