YRF will not launch Virat Kohli opposite Anushka Sharma
The studio cleared the air about the rumours surrounding Kohli's debut
Mumbai: It looks like Virat Kohli will not be getting his huge Bollywood break with Yash Raj Films(YRF) opposite Anushka Sharma. A couple of days ago rumours were abuzz of the Indian cricketer replacing Shah Rukh Khan in a new romantic film by YRF, opposite his girlfriend Anushka Sharma.
However, the official YRF Twitter handle cleared the air and stated that no such announcement has been made. They posted, “#YRFNews Virat Kohli will not star opposite Anusha Sharma in YRF’s next. Aditya Chopra’s script and cast for his next outing still not locked.”
They further posted:
To avoid confusion, we would like to categorically state that there is no plan to launch Virat Kohli in YRF’s next alongside Anushka Sharma.
