Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government will ask the Centre for money or for a share of the properties of the institutions that were not listed in the IXth Schedule and the Xth Schedule of the State Reorgansation Act.
There are 89 such institutions like the National Construction Academy (NAC), Lokayukta, State Election Commission, Right to Information Commission and others. The Telangana State government claims that these institutions belongs to it.
In a meeting scheduled on November 28 at New Delhi, which has been convened by Union home secretary Anil Goswami, AP chief secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao will demand that the Centre pay the amount or give a share of the properties of these 89 institutions.
He will demand that the properties be shared between AP and Telangana on population basis. Andhra Pradesh is also preparing a complaint against the Telangana state government on various issues like power, water, unilaterally occupying the institutions etc.
