Accused Nand Singh along with his brother attacked his wife with a sickle
Kota: A 35-year-old woman's nose and four fingers of her hand were chopped off allegedly by her husband after an argument broke out between them over a case of property in Borkheda area here, police said on Saturday.
The accused Nand Singh (40) along with his brother attacked his wife Shimla Kanwa with a sickle and chopped her nose along with four fingers of her hand yesterday. They later locked her in a room from where police recovered her and admitted to Maharao Bheem Singh hospital.
The couple were living separately from last few years, but the victim Shimla Kanwar visited her husband some days back to solve the property issue when the incident occurred, SHO Ranvijay Singh told.
Police have booked Nand Singh and his younger brother in the matter under various sections of the IPC, but no arrest has been made so far, however the investigation into the matter is on.
