Tulluru land as costly as in New York: Venkaiah Naidu

Vijayawada: Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday said that lands in Tulluru area have already become on par with New York, San Fransico of America in regard to price. Urging farmers not to believe in the ongoing anti-campaign against the AP government’s proposed land pooling proposal, he said it is not appropriate to select the capital location only based on government lands. The growth of the city would become stunted in that case. Mr Naidu said that he had already talked to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of the capital development. The Centre will extend assistance to AP, assured Mr Naidu on Saturday.
