YSR Congress MLAs may get place in CRDA
MLAs of these constituencies will be nominated by the government
Hyderabad: Amid soaring fight to bag a post in the Capital Region Development Authority, speculations are rife that some YSR Congress MLAs may get place in the capital body.
According to the draft Bill of CRDA, four MLAs representing the “development area”, nominated by the government will become members in the Capital Region Development Authority.
The AP government is planning to construct the capital city in the area between Guntur and Krishna districts. An official said the government is in an opinion to nominate two MLAs each from Guntur and Krishna districts. The present proposed capital area will come under Tadi-konda and Mangalagiri Assembly constituencies.
MLAs of these constituencies will be nominated by the government as the members of the CRDA.
The Tadikonda segment is represented by TD MLA Sravan Kumar and the Mangalagiri segment is represented by YSR Congress MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy. From Krishna district also Mylavaram and Nandigama MLAs likely to be nominated. The Mylavaram segment is represented by AP major irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao, the Nandigama segment is represented by TD MLA Sowmya.
