Hrithik Roshan and YRF join forces again
The success of Bang Bang has retained Hrithik Roshan’s box office viability
The success of Bang Bang has retained Hrithik Roshan’s box office viability. While every filmmaker now wants to work with the star, it is YRF that has managed to get the actor on board, again.
Hrithik’s previous projects with the film industry’s biggest banner was Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Dhoom. He had to opt out of Shekhar Kapur’s Paani that is being co-produced by YRF. Now the actor being back in the YRF camp has put to rest speculations about ruffled equations between them.
“YRF has always had immense respect and faith in Hrithik and he has always been open to the idea of working with them,” says a close source. We hear that the superstar and the production house will join forces for a mega-budget film that will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. “Hrithik has been approached but he is yet to sign on the the dotted line,” says a source close to YRF.
Also, a formal announcement from the studio will be made after shooting dates of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjodaro are decided. Apparently, YRF is planning various sequels to the Hrithik-starrer. The production house already has a successful Dhoom franchise and with Hrithik kickstarting yet another, this will be one to watch out for.
