Areeb Majeed - who allegedly returned from Iraq after serving Islamic State

New Delhi: American intelligence agencies are likely to question Areeb Majeed, who returned to India after being associated with the IS in Iraq and Syria. Sources said the US agencies, that launched a massive offensive against IS in Iraq, feel they can get valuable inputs from Areeb.

There has been increased cooperation between US and Indian agencies particularly after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Areeb, who has shown no remorse is believed to have given the latest location of the other three boys from Kalyan who had joined the terror group with him saying that they too were not involved in actual fighting but given manual works like cooking for IS fighters. The three boys are being kept in different cities.
