Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu escapes bus accident, rescued by NSG commandos
Naidu was travelling from Madurapudi airport to Rajahmundry for an event
Hyderabad: NSG commandoes rescued Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu from a bus in which he travelling, after smoke was detected coming out of it on Wednesday.
Naidu was travelling from Madurapudi airport to Rajahmundry in the special-bullet proof bus to attend a disability event when the accident took place.
Due to a technical glitch in the bus’ engine, smoke started coming out of it, however he was taken out and shifted to a car. He escaped without any injuries.
Naidu has taken a chartered flight this morning to reach Madurapudi airport. Later, he arrived at the venue and attended the event.
Addressing an audience at the event Naidu said, “On international day for the disabled, let us support their dignity, rights and well-being and free them social ostracism.”
