First global meet after split in Visakhapatnam

Hyderabad: Post-bifurcation, the first international conference to be hosted by AP will be held in Visakhapatnam, and part of it will be on the sea.
Ministers and Speakers of many countries will take part in the Commonwealth nations’ five-day parliamentary conference to be held in February.
Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said part of the conference will be held on a cruise.
Mr Rao said, “This time, the conference will be on Media Laws in the Commonwealth nations. We are expecting more than 12 nations to take part.”
The revenue officials officials of Visakhapatnam have been asked to identify the venue for the meet, added Mr Rao.
