St Francis’ ex-principal Sister Bridgit Fernandes passes away

Hyderabad: Former principal of St Francis Degree College, Begumpet, Sister Bridgit Fernandes passed away. For 27 years, Sister Bridgit thought at the college. Her individuality and style of teaching is admired and remembered till date. She was instrumental in introducing human values as a compulsory subject in the college, said the students.
Sister Bridgit had served on the syndicate and senate of Osmania University, the AIACHE and Xavier Boards apart from other religious and secular organisations. She was also the recipient of Best Principal award from AIACHE and Xavier Board.
