Ranbir Kapoor's character name in 'Tamasha' and other details revealed

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor who is busy shooting for the Shimla schedule of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’ will be seen playing a traveller in search for adventure. We did happen to come across this picture of the identity card of the character played by Ranbir in the film.

Ranbir will play an engineering student Ved Sahni studying in Jaypee University Of Information Technology. By the looks of the picture the film may or may not be set in the early 90s.

Now this major clue makes us wonder whether is this part of a flashback sequence or is the film set in the 90s. Here’s a fun fact, Ranbir’s real-life lady love Katrina Kaif’s character was named Harleen Sahni in the film ‘Bang Bang’.
