New Delhi: Joining the All-India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) protests against the NDA government’s “anti-worker” labour laws amendments, the RSS-affiliated Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has joined hands with other trade unions to launch a stir on Thursday.

The BMS is distancing itself from the BJP on the issue saying that its concern over labour reforms has nothing to do with politics or political parties.

However, the coming together of the Left-backed trade unions and the BMS has raised eyebrows.

The Central trade unions said demonstrations will be held “unitedly” across the country at the state as well as district headquarters against the “anti-labour” reforms initiatives.
