Leaked: HTC Hima to be the next flagship smartphone in 2015

HTC Hima will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system

HTC has been continuously manufacturing a series of high-end devices, the HTC One M8, HTC One E8, HTC Desire Eye and RE camera. In recent years, the company has moved its focus on upgrading the mega-pixel of its smartphone cameras.

So, what are the upcoming devices that will be launched in 2015? Media reports state that HTC plans to name the flagship model of 2015 as ‘HTC Hima’, which will further be followed up by the HTC One M9 and M9 Prime launch.

@upleaks, a well-known tech enthusiast tweeted that the HTC HIMA will sport a 5-inch FHD display. The HTC Hima and HTC One M9 is expected to sport a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 processor and 64-bit chipset. 

The flagship HTC HIMA handset is speculated to come with 3GB of RAM and LTE Cat. 6 connectivity.  You might even see an upgraded 20.7MP rear camera on the HTC Hima, along with a 13MP or a 4MP Ultra-pixel front-facing camera. The flagship handset will surely run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and might carry a 2840mAH battery.

On the other hand, the HTC M9 will vary in its screen size by 0.20-inch and feature a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD3 QHD capacitive touchscreen display and will arrive in three variants - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Meanwhile, GSMArena also reported that ‘HIMA Ace’, another low budget handset will be similar to the HTC E8.  Adding to this, @upleaks also revealed that HTC Desire devices will also be unveiled at the MWC in March 2015.
