The security agencies of cities like Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai were put on alert and strengthen security on December 6, as there are possibilities of ISIS motivated youths launching attacks.
Hyderabad cops have already started taking precautionary measures. The old city of Hyderabad was put on alert on Friday. South Zone officials conducted flag marches in several areas and rowdy sheeters were rounded up.
“There is no permission for any kind of protests or gathering in the old city on Saturday. I request people to cooperate with us, and inform about suspicious persons in their areas,” said South Zone deputy commissioner of police Satyanarayana.
Both the commissioners of Hyderabad and Cyberabad, issued prohibitory orders in the city and restrictions were placed on processions, rallies or protests in connection with the Babri demolition anniversary.
Several sensitive areas in the city were getting SMS by the police stations sending alert messages to people in their limits, asking them to be alert on Saturday and inform police if they come across any suspicious person or bag.
Meanwhile MIM and MBT political parties in the old city have called for a peaceful bandh on Saturday to mark Black day.
