Over 1,000 birds culled in Pallam

Kottayam: More than 1,000 birds were culled in Pallam under Kottayam municipality on Friday and more culling is due in the next few days, according to district animal husbandry
officials.

The special team of volunteers inspected more than 29,850 people as part of precautionary measures of the district medical office. In all, 226 healthcare professionals were involved, said DMO, Dr Iysha Bhai.
