Traffic curbs in Kochi on Sunday
The police authorities have informed that parking would be totally banned on the roads
KOCHI: Traffic regulations will be put in place in connection with the Kochi International Half Marathon scheduled to be held on Sunday.
The marathon, which will kick off from Marine Drive will pass through Shanmugham Road, Foreshore Road, Church Landing Road, MG Road (from Pallimukku to Thevara), Naval Base, Vathuruthy, BOT Bridge, Thoppumpady junction, P.T Jacob Road, Pappangamukku to reach Soudi junction.
The runners will return through the same route to reach Maharajas College Ground through Jose junction and DCC junction.
From 6 am to 8 am, vehicles coming from Vypeen and Container Road should go through Banerjee Road, Market Road, TD Road, MG Road, Chittoor Road, SA Road, Vyttila, Kundanoor to reach Thevara, Vyttila and west Kochi areas.
Vehicles coming from Ernakulam townhall side which need to go to Thevara, Vyttila should go from Kacheripady through Chittoor Road or from Kaloor through Kathrikadavu Road to reach SA Road and Vyttila, Kundanoor.
Private buses and other vehicles from Fort Kochi and Mattanchery should divert through Koovapadam junction, Santo Gopalan Road, Parippu junction, Mundamveli Road, K.V Thomas Road, Kochupally Road, ESI Road to reach BOT Bridge and should enter the city through Alexander Parambithara Road, Kundannoor and Vyttila.
Vehicles coming from Willingdon Island that need to go to the city should pass through Swift Junction, BOT East Junction, Kundanoor junction and Vyttila.

Parking is allowed at Marine Drive parking ground, pay and park near Joy Alukaks, from High Court junction to CMFRI, Abraham Madammakal Road, Chathiyath Road, Ernakulathappan Ground and DH Ground.
