Hyderabad: President of India Pranab Mukherjee, who is scheduled to visit Hyderabad this month and stay at the Rash-trapati Nilayam in Bollaram, might not have a peaceful time this season.

The stink from the Jawaharnagar dump yard is likely to make it tough for the President.

Such is the intensity of the foul smell, that  it does not even spare the Rashtrapati Nilayam, which is 8km away from the dump yard, too is not spared of the stink.

Ramky, which maintains the solid waste treatment plant, says that it will take at least 10 months to cap the uncovered portions of the dump yard.

“Since it is spread over a 300 acres, it would take at least 10 months to complete the capping work,” said a Ramky official.
