Shishir Sharma to play a cop in his next

Veteran actor Shishir Sharma is all set to change his image. In Color’s Shastri Sisters, where he makes his entry next week, he plays a corrupt politician and he loves the change of image.

Says Shishir, “This is my 18th serial. I’ve been typecast as the good-natured father. But I don’t mind. It’s just enough for me that I am still working.”

What he does mind is being auditioned. “After so many years of experience I still have to audition. When I am asked to do so I ask the serials’ makers if they don’t know what I am capable of.”
