Hyderabad: If the proposed AP Capital Regional Development Authority Bill is passed, experts say that Planning Officer of the authority will have extraordinary powers in allotment of plots.

A Board of Appeal and building tribunal are to be constituted where the decisions are final and no court will have jurisdictions over the appeal.

Former Assistant Solicitor-General to High Court P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy said, “The over-riding power of CRDA may take away people’s rights granted by earlier Acts. However, people can still approach  the High Court and Supreme Court.”
