Pakistan major trained LeT squad responsible for J&K attack: Intelligence
New Delhi: Intercepts by intelligence agencies between top commanders of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayyaba on both sides of the border have revealed that the terror attack at an Army camp in Mohura, in the Uri sector, was carried out under the direct instructions and supervision of senior officers of Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI). The attack on Friday in which 11 security personnel were killed is being described as the worst terror attack this year.
Top intelligence sources said that following the incident there was a sharp increase in exchange of messages across the border, which indicates that the ISI had an important role in the attack. The operatives mention the role of an ISI Major who trained the six Lashkar “fidayeen”.
