Customers claim OnePlus sold them refurbished phones
Seven OnePlus customers claimed used pieces, but company denies it did
OnePlus seems to be in the news for a different event altogether, and it doesn’t seem good this time. Though OnePlus was a surprise flagship killer for this year, a few unlikely incidents seem to have put-off a few customers.
A report on GSMArena states that a few customers have complained that their devices seem to be opened boxes, a few complained about scratches and scuffs already on the phone and other complained that their phones already had a few previously clicked photos on it. Some even claimed that the OS was already setup on the device and also there were extra screen guards placed on the display.
A total of seven cases so far have been reported and the company stated that they are looking into the matter and investigating the case.
OnePlus has replied to the customers regarding the refurbished pieces, you can check out the reply on the blog.
A few customers also reported their doubts on whether OnePlus handsets were actually having Gorilla Glass 3 installed on the phones. To this too, OnePlus has replied on their blog.
