Yes, you read it right! LG is planning to introduce a new handset that will not be an Android version, but instead run on Firefox operating system.

@upleaks, a well-known tech enthusiast has mentioned on Twitter that the upcoming Firefox OS device will be known as ‘LG L25’. The upcoming LG L25 Firefox OS is expected to feature a 4.68-inch display and its pixel density measures up to 313ppi. Recent reports state that the LG L25 isspeculated to run on Snapdragon 400 processor, equipped with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU.

LG L25 handset of 2015 will come with an onboard 16GB ROM and 1.5GB of RAM. Meanwhile, GSMArena also reported that the smartphone will have an 8MP rear snapper and 2.1 front-facing camera. The Firefox handset by LG will first arrive in the Japanese market.
