New Delhi/Bengaluru: After the assault on the border, Pakistan’s ISI is planning terror attacks in India’s hinterland. The Intelligence Bureau has warned that five fugitive suspects of Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) who fled Khandua Jail in Madhya Pradesh are planning terror attacks and are taking instructions from Pakistani handlers.

High alert was issued in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan and some metros like Bengaluru. MHA sources said that at least two terrorists were spotted in Karnataka.

Intercepts of their chatter with Pakistani handlers triggered the alert, with IB officials warning the attacks might come within a month.

“Unn logon ko aacha project diya hain, kuch din intezar karo (Those people have been given an important project. Wait for some time),” one of the chats between an ISI official and a handler, revealed.

Meanwhile, Twitter has decided to suspend 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed account after his anti-India tweets.
