Two-month-old girl dies in LPG blast

19 people have been seriously injured in the blast

Visakhapatnam: In a ghastly incident at Rangireejuveedhi in Vizag on Tuesday, an infant died due to a LPG cylinder explosion, early in the morning.

As per information received from the police sources, the cylinder exploded at the ground floor of a two-storied house. 19 people have been seriously injured in the blast. 

One of the residents of the ground floor house was tinkering with the LPG cylinder’s valve due to weak flames in the stove following which the accident took place.

Under the impact of explosion, as per the initial reports, a small part of the roof of an adjacent ground floor house fell on the two-month-old baby girl who was in her cradle.
