Bengaluru: A six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by her neighbour, a 12-year-old boy, in K.G. Halli police station limits recently. The incident was reported from Ramdev Gardens in HBR Layout on Monday evening after a senior citizen tipped-off the police about the incident.

He told the police that he overheard two drunk men quarrelling, with one of them claiming that the other’s son had sexually abused his daughter, said the police.

The police brought the two men to the police station for questioning, following which the victim’s father later lodged a complaint with the police. According to the police, the incident supposedly took place about two weeks ago when the boy allegedly tried to sexually abuse the girl, while she was playing outside.
