KARIMNAGARFour eunuchs belonging to Warangal helped a woman from UP to have a safe childbirth near Ramagundam on Friday while she was travelling in a train. The woman gave birth to a boy.

Roshini, Usha, Sameera and Nagaram jointly helped Nirmala Raju Yadav to give birth. The four hijras came forward when women passengers did not respond to Niramla’s husband’s plea to help her in delivering as she started experiencing severe pains at Jammikunta.

Nirmala and Raju were travelling from Hyderabad to their native place in the Gonda district of UP by Gorakhapur Express. The four collected saris from female passengers and helped Nirmala. They also cut the umbilical cord of the baby. Later, the woman was shifted to a hospital near Ramagu-ndam railway station.

However, both the mother and the baby were discharged from the hospital as they were fine and they left for Uttar Pradesh in the same train. The passengers and residents of Ramagundam including staffers at the railway station praised the eunuchs for their spontaneous help.
