Mumbai: The good news is that on the night of December 15 the long-awaited serial Maha Kumbh begins on Life OK. The bad news is that Gautam Rode won’t be seen in the first few episodes. Siddharth Nigam the wonder kind who played the two roles of the the two Aamir Khans in Dhoom 3 plays the junior Rode.He will occupy screen space initially.
And Rode has personally trained Siddharth to be a junior version of Rode, muscles sinewy reflexes and all.
Says Rode, “Siddharth is a national-level gymnast. So he already had a good physique. The good thing is, that the small and big Rudra(the name of Rode’s character) they both have six packs. He is a brilliant kid. I just gave him some tips.”
This is the first time in the history of the Indian entertainment industry that an actor has taken such a close interest in the child actor who plays the childhood portions of the mature actor.
Gautam Rode is very excited about the premiere of his epic serial. “It feels right. With its huge canvas Maha Kumbh would definitely catch viewers’ attention. Plus it has a huge canvas with an excellent storyline with good acting support from sincere actors.I am very and proud of what we’ve made. Maha Kumbh has all the ingredients. Rudra is on his way.”
