Sankranti will see the release of some big-budget Tollywood movies. Top heroes starring in movies like Gopala Gopala, Godse and Neno Rakam are all set to hit the screens in January.

NTR Jr’s Temper, which was initially also in the race for the festive releases is backing out from the race.

Shooting was resumed after the death of NTR’s brother Janakiram, but rumours have it that the actor found it tough  to concentrate on the shooting and needed some time to come back to normal.

It has also been learnt that Puri Jagannadh, the director of Temper, discussed with producer Bandla Ganesh about the shooting progress.

He informed Bandla Ganesh that, the film cannot be completed as planned and that Temper won’t be ready for a Sankranti release; the producer was fine with the decision and gave a break to the actor.

The grapevine also has it that with Temper backing out of the Sankranti race, the makers of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Pataas,  which was initially planned to be released in the last week of December,  is now   planning a Sankranti release. Even if Temper isn’t being released as planned, Nandamuri fans will still be happy, if Pataas releases in January next year.
