Chain snatcher detained

Hyderabad: The Langar House police served a detention order under the PD Act on Faisal Sha Jabri, a notorious chain snatcher at the Chanchalguda prison.

The police commissioner M. Mahender Reddy passed the detention order. Faisal is allegedly involved in about 125 chain snatching cases in various police stations in both Hyderabad and Cyberabad commissionerates. Sources said  women folk were scared to come out of their houses wearing gold ornaments.
